The usage charge for water is $1.55 per thousand gallons. The usage charge for sewer is $2.00 per thousand gallons as of the March 1, 2006 billing. Saugatuck Township residents also have $7.50 per month per residential equivalency. Please call for a further explanation.

The Capital Improvement Surcharge has replaced the Meter Surcharge on customer bills. The C.I.S. is applied to both the Water and Sewer portions of the bill and will remain in place until February 28, 2008. The Sewer C.I.S. Is intended to fund replacement of existing equipment at Lift Station #1. The Water C.I.S. Is intended to fund construction of new water main between Old Allegan Rd. and Lake St.

All new construction requires connection fees. Call the KLSWA for specific information.
